I would not have any hesitation recommending Kerry as a personal 1:1 coach. She is friendly, enthusiastic and extremely personable. Of course it goes without saying that she also has a great knowledge and experience of yoga as a subject/teaching. Kerry also has the ability to pitch the sessions at a level that suits the individual and adapt any recommended practice at home into a realistic regime which can fit into busy daily lives.

Kerry has a great set up at Balance Studio. The facilities are excellent, the location ideal (especially for parking) and everyone involved is very friendly. Long may it continue

I have now had two personalised 1:1 training sessions and have gained a great deal from each in turn. Although I am only a newcomer to yoga, the personal sessions have enabled me to establish a greater understanding of yoga as a discipline or teaching. They have also enabled Kerry to plan out a personalised regime of practice which suits my individual needs. As part of that, the sessions have enabled Kerry to explain some of the postures in greater detail which has improved confidence and helped with my own practicing sessions. They are also an ideal opportunity to take stock of how I am progressing with yoga and think about how yoga can be best enjoyed to achieve any personal objectives – all in a relaxing and soothing environment.

 
 "I was brought a fabulous Birthday present this year - a 1:1 yoga session with Kerry and a membership to her Yoga studio. I am new to yoga and this was my very first experience of it - I must admit that I was quite nervous about having a 1:1 session in an activity that I knew nothing about! However, I needn't have worried about a thing. Kerry made me feel right at home in her beautiful studio and put me at ease immediately.
The hour flew by so quickly and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I learnt a lot about my body in that session and felt amazing afterwards - ready to take on the world! The stretches were empowering and Kerry was a fantastic teacher. She was patient, informative and great fun! By having the 1:1 sessions with Kerry I can now confidently throw my mat down anytime/anywhere in the knowledge that I am doing it correctly outside of the usual classes. I can do as much or as little as time allows. Kerry has helped improve my posture, with my breathing - helping me sleep and remain calm, core strength, general fitness and of course I am now far more supple than before I started.
I must say I have started yoga with other instructors in the past and have never enjoyed it as much as I do at Balance. Kerry is patient and explains positions clearly and at a pace that suits.

We would recommend Kerry as a personalised trainer to anyone who needs that kick start to loose weight and tone up. Kerry gave us the incentive to do this, by looking at our diets and putting together a healthy lifestyle plan to follow. She was our kick up the butt, to get us motivated.
